Thank the sweet lord. I was getting bogged down by entirely too many things there, preventing myself from living these last few Londonian days to the hilt. But these have dispersed, solved themselves or been replaced by happier matters.
Tara, a girl from Mo-town who was supposed to have accompanied us but rethought her plans, has returned to our little London. I had not met her before but the boys enjoyed her, so I was excited to meet her. We all put a few beers away, smoking infinite amounts of ciggies and had a nice little bottle of grappo. I am looking forward to her presence as a staple for the remaining days.
Also, it has been revealed that the Canadian was not actually trying to blow me off, but is just extraordinarily busy. Figures. I'll admit, I let that throw a wrench into my world more than I should have, but I'm young and positively drenched in passion.
