1:50 p.m. - 2003-12-15 I have been semi-devoted to this, the worst paper I will probably write this year. It is for the detestable time-wastery often found in my journalism senior seminar. The aim of this class is to leave us with some kind of publishable capstone that explores a problem in contemporary journalism. THIS IS THE MOST RIDICULOUS CLASS I HAVE TAKEN IN COLLEGE. There was actually a class when we discussed 'annecdotes' and then all brought one to class. It's taught by the dean of the school who, while a great, hilarious fellow, is prone to hypocrisy, talking-down, guilt-tripping and other unpleasant activities. And here I am at school, finishing my accursed paper in the last dwindling hours before 5 AND MY DISK DOESN'T FUCKING WORK. I was going to attempt some kind of positive assertion, some kind of 'Things are getting better...really' but I don't think I can find it in me.
